I will be installing an ebody dana 60 in my 71 Challenger R/T.
The engine is in the stock location as well as the trans. The rear will be placed on the factory leaf spring pins. My question is ???
what should the drive shaft measure from center of u-joint to center of u-joint? I want the shaft in hand so the swap will only take a few hours.
Thanks Moparts
Bill

Many variables

How may variables do you see for a 71 Challenger with a 9 3/4" rear axle?

A Dana 60 in place of an 8-3/4 Requires that the driveshaft be shortened exactly One Inch.

Big Block or Small Block, It doesn't matter.
If the driveshaft for the 8-3/4 was correct then you switch to a Dana 60 the driveshaft will need to be shortened exactly One inch.
