After fighting every step of the way for over two years on this build I thought I was over the hump, just prime the oiling system, seal up the valley cover and button it up. Ran the drill and it built 80 psi quickly with 5w30 BR oil but it wasn't getting any pushrod oiling to the rockers.Oiling like crazy to the rollers. Cranked it over with a ratchet while running the drill but still no oil. to the rockers.Pulled a pair of lifters and ran the drill, plenty of oil at the bushing feed hole.Oil hole is in the front of each bushing parallel to the oil passage.Pushrod oil feed hole in the lifter is 90* from the bushing hole so I assume the pushrod oil is metered by the lifter bore clearance. The lifter are G&S Products Ultrapros that measure 0.9035 and the bushings measure 0.9042 leaving 0.0007 clearance. Is that to tight for pushrod oil metering or will they actually oil with the engine running? I don't want to take a chance and run the Jesel rockers dry. Do I need to grind a oil relief slot to the pushrod feed hole to get enough iol there? The piece of green wire in the picture is the oil feed hole location in the bushing.

I had the same problem yrs ago. My block wasn’t bushed it had restrictors. I took a small carbide and cut a small groove hole to hole.
