Yes, there are Dodges out there we have (5) Dodge off road truck engines in house right now that we are refreshing. Most of the sanctioning bodies allow any make body with any make engine. So, just because it has a Ford or Chevy body doesn't mean that is what is powering it. In fact more and more of the classes are all switching to LS power for cost savings.

I can see the Chevy LS motors being more frequently used due to parts availability and the amount performance parts for it. I used to see a lot of that style trophy trucks, some would probably look even better on a street truck conversion (unless your in California where extreme mods like that would be ground spin by the local sheriff/police). With the general body, guess a grill swap and nobody would probably be the wiser since there is rarely any body panels resembling stock.
Do you build them for customers or just build the engines?

Would love to build a Rod Hall or Walker Evans tribute truck if I won the Lottery. Here’s a Rod Hall tribute truck I built back in the early 90s. This was taken right after the paint job. I had off-road tube bumpers with aluminum skid plates ( one made from a road sign) and a spare tire rack in the bed. It was by no means a competition truck but was a lot of fun and got a lot of looks.

I've been following a build of a street legal trophy truck by Danny Parsel on instagram https://www.instagram.com/dparsel/ His build is the most amazing truck build I can recall. If I had the financial means, I'd replicate exactly what he's done with a Ramcharger.
