i started to restore the grill for my 69 gtx and just wanted to know if anyone has a good pic of a original or n.o.s grill.it seems like it has both dark and light argent on it? dark on the outer parts and light on the center two bars that hold the emblem,or mabee just light overspray on the natural plastic from the dark.any help would be great thanks

The surround portion of the grill is medium argent. The center bars are NOT aregent but silver with red inserts. I have attached a picture of the grill but it does not show that well. If you need additional pictures let me know. I have two grills here and can try to get you a better picture of what ever you need.

having had 4 1969 GTX"s and 2 NOS grilles.
I would have to agree 100% the outer band/or shell so to speak is a medium textured argent with the center cross bars a non-textured light dull silver
