I'm thinking about upgrading my tach, already have a shift light, but was wondering about the "optional connector" needed to be compatible.

Thanks, Justin

I use even the older version of that tach from the 90s. Still records but I can no longer get it to download to a PC. No current PC operating systems seem to like it. The multiple shift points are a nice feature. It also does driveshaft speed. Mine doesn’t have the starting line rpm light feature.

I like that tach, but you can get all that in a dual range tach and I like that better.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

In my opinion not worth it unless you also record driveshaft rpm. Awesome when you have both. I have the old version also that records both and loved it. Since switched to racepak.

Thanks guys. From reading the instructions I don't think this tach records driveshaft RPM's and playback is on the tach it's self.
