Second choice in Rochester closed up shop due to Covid. We finally went to my old Buddy Frank @ F&R in Johnsonville NY. He said that if I wasn't an old friend he would have said no way as he is swamped. 67 Coronet 500 9.610 @ 139.20 mph 67 Coronet 500 (street car) 14.82 @ 94 mph 69 GTX (clone) - build in progress......

moparx "Butt Crack Bob" Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 19,355 north of coder	depends on one's skills and equipment he owns, whether to build your own or have a shop installation. one thing REALLY bugs me about "home built" cages, and they are super easy to spot, is the "booger welds" ! i know you can't grind down welds, but if tracks allow these "boogers" to go down the track, you might as well allow "muffler moly" tubing to be used !

In fact several features on my cage our local NHRA inspector praises about my car. He is a die hard Chevy dude and never believes mine is a street car and always says it is too nicely done to race. I graduated HS with his brother who also has sadly passed away. My buddy who needs the cage - his mom is friends with the Mark's mom.
