I asked over on the general board but I might as well ask some truck guys here.

any pics of slave cyl mounting converting a mech clutch to hydro.

I got my 72 B-body bell housing in hand now and would like a couple pics for reference/ideas on a DIY mounting bracket or style slave used?

I got ideas but think it may be cobbled together looking. I would rather have a more clean looking bracket over angle iron/flat bar. more race car looking than rat rod looking? clean tight functional.

I have a late 80s stock truck hydro pedals /MC/Res/line/slave just need to mount the stock slave (which would be very challenging to me because of shape & tools & fabricating stuff up)

someone did mention a factory conversion but I can not find any part# or info on the parts or yrs???

I can not locate a v6-v8 SB hydro truck bell for the 833od trans bolt pattern & 5.125" retainer hole??? anybody?

I did see a nice bracket for a slave mount but it was for a honda car or something?

TIA

looking at the breakdown pics I have everything but the slave bracket and the couple mounting bolts/spacers to mount it to bell.

I have never seen anything like that in all the trucks I have looked over. I have only seen hydro bells that mount it. the bell I have has a bolt pattern for the a535 5 speed(NV1500?) or 435 4 speed.

I would have thought this is more common today converting mopars to manual shift.

I was browsing junkyards last summer looking for that rare a833 hydraulic setup. Only came across the integral, passenger side mounted slaves. Must've been a 435.

If the zbar linkage gives me any more trouble this year, I will certainly be fabbing up my own bracket to hold a slave.

I imagine most manual conversions these days are done with a more modern transmission and a hydraulic throwout.
