I know this is weird (something I can be good at).

I’m trying to recall a phrase from a movie, TV show, or whatever.

A guy says (and laughs) “What an idiot!”

He’s obviously dissing a opposing person in a humorous and demeaning way.

Just can’t pin the originality.

Any input?

Been driving me crazy!

Could be one of a dozen or so movies. What come to mind is "Ruthless People" when a guy exclaims "that has to be the stupidest person I have ever seen".

I'm not going to be a help either I'm sure but the first thing that came to my mind was Back to the Future and "He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. Parents are probably idiots too".
