Sorry but the 9G296333 could not be an A12 transmission as A12 were only built in the Lynch Road "A" assembly plant. "G" is the St. Louis assembly plant code. And the only way to find an A12 transmission is if one can prove it matches an A12 VIN. Your RM23M9A is proof that you have an A12 regardless of the last digits. The "M" "9" and the "A" along with the B-body designations (RM21 or RM23).

There's nothing different about an A12 automatic 093 transmission, folklore claims the A12's had a "HEMI" automatic trans and that is not true. They are the same as any '69 383 or 440 HP engine automatic 727 transmission in the '69 B-bodies.

I would just stick (not a pun) with the transmission you have now, other than the "G" in the serial number the internals should be the same if it is an 093 trans.

Mike

I see what you're doing, you're actually look for your transmission and not just any A12 727 trans. I looked up your car 225 on the registry and damn that's a nice looking A12 Road Runner up up Good luck with your search and hope you find it. luck

On the edge 02, BTW your car wouldn't have happened to be John D's A12 car at one time?

HI Mike, helping my buddy find his transmission. Numbers are supplied by him and in a picture. I'll ask him about the previous
Owners. Recently acquired this car. Thanks for the input Rick

Yes, this is John Dallian's old Road Runner. VIN confirmed.
