4" Dynomax bullets on a 4" x pipe system. I sometimes have trouble hearing the car if the guy in the other lane is on the chip laugh

Hooker Max Flow mufflers work great and are way quieter than you'd think. I have a pair of them in 4" on my cuda. They are actually quieter than I'd like them to be.

My favorite Street exhaust combo was using the 9" Dynomax bullet followed by Borla XR-1s with turn-downs at the axle. That combination had an awesome sound....real hollow and deep like the cam was deep back in a cave if that makes sense. At full throttle though, it shrieked like a monster.

Holly crap, that thing runs good. Whats the engine combo? I too use the 4" Hooker max flow. They are quite idling and cruising, but get loud at wide open. They are heavy thou.

Thanks Dave! It's a 575" pump gas hemi on nitrous. It has a lot more left in it.

That thing is badass. What compression? It will be a few years yet, but hope my 12:1 572 Hemi runs like that. I have just about all the parts at this point. Taking my rotating assembly to Best next week for balancing. I'm guessing mine should make at least 800 off the crank.

493 John...it has an H pipe.

mopar dave...It's 11:1. Makes somewhere north of 800 hp on motor. It's been 9.50s at 140+ mph on motor only at 3800 lbs. I've been 8.90s on nitrous, but should be in the mid 8 sec range now. I've been a good bit quicker at 1/8 mile tracks since doing some tuning. Just haven't had the chance to run it at a 1/4 mile track in a while.

Take look on you tube/ David Vizard. He has a video on mufflers and I followed his advice with a 671 blown BB(street/strip). W/W/O mufflers was no difference at the track and as quiet a a stock 426 hemi RR.

No problem. I went 8.90s on 250 hp. Spraying 300 now.

This was w/ a pair of dynomax bullet race mufflers. Poor quality video a friend of mine took for me. This was 8.91 at 151 mph.

Off topic but tying the hood lights into the shift light is an awesome idea. Now that is a shift light.
