Getting stuff ironed out while engine is being done. This is for the 360 base 426” stroker in ‘70 duster grudge car.

I’ll be using a one-wire alternator and all I’ll have in my loop is crank pulley, water pump and alternator. I am considering serpentine set-up but want to know if I should use a kit with an idler or so I even need one? I like the kits Mancini has but haven’t seen any with an idler. Looking for any suggestions.

Thanks !

Don’t bother with an idler, but do get a tensioner that is spring loaded

I have the March setup, 420" 360 based, crank, water pump, alternator only. Very good quality - Will get a pic for you later.

Mine has a Moroso water pump motor & a cogged belt to the pump, and a 1-wire alt driven off the crank pulley.
Made my own alternator bracket, with a belt tension adjustment.
Vacuum pumo is electric.
Member AndyF makes alternator mounts, too.

My 408 and 367 small blocks .. I run a one wire alternator, stock style water pump and a Moroso crank pulley driven off a single V belt.. tension is adjusted on the alternator like a stock set up

Pretty much the same set up here, I made the brackets for my alternator.
