Salmon! My wife got at least a pound of salmon wrapped in aluminum foil ready for the grill. She left it in the middle of the kitchen island and left for a while. I came into the house and found our granddaughter's Husky loose in the house. I caught him(not easy) and put him back behind the dog gate. I went into the kitchen and found a few little scraps of foil. I figured he found a candy wrapper or something I cleaned that up and didn't think anything of it until my wife came home and yelled "where is the salmon?". That dumb dog ate every little bit of the salmon, didn't leave any mess, and probably ate 90 percent of the foil. flame. We had to get pizza. Will the foil hurt him? He threw some of it up last night. Presumably the rest will come out the other end.

Can I check him out with a metal detector? Lol

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I think the big problem would be blockage. Dogs will get blockages from stuff they eat fairly often, Socks are a particular favorite, so it could be a problem with aluminum foil. Blockages are painful and potentially dangerous if it untreated.

That's what I am worried about. If the foil is wadded up It may not pass.

1 or 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide will make them vomit it up (If it is in the belly still).

I recently lost my Great Dane. Dudley was a 186 pound monster that could use the kitchen sink as a water bowl. We lost a entire roasted chicken, large pizza, loaf of bread - all sorts of food to this guy!

I am not rich...but I get off my ass everyday to make sure I am not broke!

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

I would say that by now you are seeing symptoms if there is a blockage. If he stops eating, drinking, or seems excessively bloated go to the doctor right away.

I have a hand held scanner that will pick up aluminum I bought from Harbor freight. At least i think it is aluminum. Small pieces of non magnetic flexible metals were found while searching the grass near my house.

One of those may show you if there is a large wad closer to the stomach than the exit door.

Prayers all will be ok.

My dog got a whole apple pie once.
