I have used the SEM color coat aerosol products for both black and white and have had great luck with them. I am needing Green for 69-70 dash parts and SEM does not make any green interior paints as far as I can tell. I see Herbs has a product. Has anyone used the #1198 Dark Green Metallic? If so, what were your results? If you have used the Herbs product in other colors I would also appreciate feedback? Also, any other options out there for this 69-70 green interior paint? Thanks in advance! Joe

I have used the Herbs FK5 Burnt orange and it was spot on and had great coverage. I liked it a lot.

I haven't used Herb's, but I've used SEM and the stuff Classic Industries sells; both have worked fine.
Not aware pf any complaints on Herb's product, though.
It's important of course to really clean the panel, and I use an adhesion promoter before painting plastic or vinyl.

I've used Herb's pearl white. I tried spraying it over a black bucket seat hinge cover. It just turned it silver. I ended up having to spray the hinge cover with SEM white first. Then sprayed Herb's pearl white over the SEM. Turned out great.

I used the Herb's dark green for 1968. This is not really answering your question about the #1198 1969-1970 dark green. I painted my rear package tray on my 68 Coronet with the 1968 Dark Green paint.
Later on ,looking at the paint chips I should have gone with the 1198 (69-70) because that was the perfect color, exactly the same color of my original package tray from years ago. The color came out very good. The paint laid on really nice.
I painted the package tray 3 1/2 years ago. Still, no fading and it's still nice today. I highly recommend the paint. Many years ago I used SEM vinyl paint, shot with a spray gun to paint a vinyl top. The color came out good. That top was painted in 1994
and it was still nice when I replaced the top 3 years ago. SEM is a very durable paint.

Think I will give the Herb's product a try. Thanks for the feedback! Joe
