The 632 is really quite complete; including EFI controller.
Our Deluxe package comes complete from the oil pan to the throttle body, as well as a crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug ignition coils mounted on a unique valley plate, plug wires, water pump, balancer and an aluminum single-plane intake manifold. The assembly also includes Chevy Orange valve covers with the “632” logo.
INSTALLATION NOTES • Crate engine kit includes pre-programmed, self-learning control system • Due to crate fitment, the throttle body is shipped uninstalled and must be installed by the engine installer • Requires starter, EFI-compatible high-pressure fuel pump and air cleaner compatible with 4500-series (Dominator) mounting flange • Cylinder head exhaust port design requires custom exhaust system • Requires internally balanced flywheel for manual transmission applications • Not intended for marine applications
While $30K might seem like a lot, if it is properly machined, assembled, and comes with usable tune, it isn't outrageous.

$30K is a killer deal for that engine. One of the race teams that I work with has spent way more than that on engines that make less power. Some guys just like to roll their own stuff but production line stuff is better and cheaper as long as the production line is properly managed. There are yes's and no's to what you said about production line stuff, but, if gauges are implemented correctly, it will be good when it gets to your door. My guess is this is a small shop GM outsourced to assemble these...And not a full on regular production line like the old Marine engines.

Looks like an awesome engine.
I noticed the intake manifold has another set of cast in bungs higher in the runner. Would be interesting to try 2 sets of injectors for low and high rpm.

I think we have a member here who had his hand in the engine design, maybe he will chime in.
There is a good number of Hydrualic roller LS combos that run well over 7000 rpm. Some of them in cars that can run bottom 7s@180-190.
