Hello. I am working on a 69 runner that's F8 with a pewter bench seat interior. Can anyone tell me what color should the headrests be?? Pewter like the seats or black?

Bench headrests should match the bolster colors.
For example, the dark green on a green bench interior.

F8 with pewter is pretty wild ! Never seen that combo.

the 1969 parts catalog January 1971 version shows the "PEWTER" Plymouth b-body bench seat interiors (M2S, H2S, P2S) have "PEWTER" headrests

I assume Legnedary can confirm headrest color for you. Likely will match lighter color in center of bench seat area.

BUT, F8 green with pewter interior has to be extremely rare. I cant say Ive ever heard of that color combo ever before.

Ive found several A4 silver or R6 red cars had it. 1 or 2 Blue cars with it. And I know of ONE 69 GTX thats Q5 with pewter int,

Back around 1989, we saw a silver '69 Sattelite in a tow-in yard in Fontana, CA. with the silver interior. Only one I've ever seen. I thought it was cool as hell.

Bottom photo is correct. Seat covers & door panels in upper photo are customized - like the shifter - and not correct.

This is what the 69 RR interior looks like in Pewter with a bench seat. The headrests are the same color as the seats, and there is no lighter color pattern to any part of the interior.

This was done with NOS material from Legendary in the early 90's.
