I know many people complain about Infoseek and other pop up ads. I recently used the Duck Duck Go browser on my Android and did not receive a single pop up ad.
Maybe I am an anomaly or maybe it is a solution for those who can use it. It doesn't have a PC version but it is available for Android and I think Apple.
Just a thought. I am using DuckDuckGo as a browser right now on my PC..

I've been using duck duck go as the search tool for awhile on my PC, but for my phone there is a browser that is used instead of firefox/chrome/edge/safari etc. I didn't see the browser for a PC just the search engine extension to add to firefox/chrome/edge/safari etc.. I'll have to look again. On the phone the browser rocks.

The Brave browser on the desktop cures all the infostinks problems
