There is a guy from Utah that used to come up here with a 70 Challenger that had a built W9 stickshift smallbock that ran low 8s @ 150+ in the quarter. Car had some fiberglass parts on it, but the body design was stock other than he put a clear lexan screen in front of the grill opening to keep the air out. I think I would try blocking the grill off first before a rear wing myself. Also a chin spoiler would be good too depending on ride height.

I have ran the grill blocked off for several years it was good for 1MPH in the 8th.. And a small spoiler Is that I had taken off of a Ford Ranger... I think They need to be closer to the ground I just Looking at some other options

A 79 Malibu chin spoiler will fit fender to fender pretty good . Some fiberglass work makes it perfect

Don’t know what front suspension your running , but getting it low helps a lot also . I’m about to lower mine a lot , front as well as the rear . These darts also have a pretty large trunk already so it doesn’t take much wing back there to make a difference . As mentioned data logging the rear shocks will show if the wing is adding downforce . I don’t run any rear wing at all , at least not yet .

My 68 Dart made a big difference in stability when I had it even with the car sitting in the weeds. I wish I still had my Dart!
