Have to comment on the 21 Renegades gas mileage again Just came back from W VA and running up thru the hills. When we got the Renegade i was worried about the 1.3 Has lots of power and way better than the Compass with the 2.4 Got 30.6 MPg again.Last time we were in w VA we really didnt get up in the hills when the wifes family lives This time we we up and down and aagain 30.6 Love the Renegade.Would recommend the 1.3 turbo so far. The 2.4L Tigershark engine won't be on my list of considerations. We had a 2018 Compass and it consumed oil pretty bad. We traded it in and have not looked back. There was a W20 recall to fix the issue. Not sure how a software update can fix an oil consumption issue. Not a fan of checking the oil every week to make sure it's not low. We didn't have it happen to us, but heard others would have the engine shut down when oil was low while driving. No lights on the dash until right before or after it shut down.

My buddy's Cherokee did that to him('19 or '20?) They put rings in it. At 11,000 miles!

Our 18 Co,mpass with 2.4 had oil problems also Had 18K when we bought it in Dec.Dealer changed oil and marked it all to see how much it used in like 4000 miles. Before that it use like 3 quarts in 3000 miles.Never did bring it back to check Traded it on the 21 Renegade. Its got just 3k and oil is down maybe 1/4 quart.Just got reminder for oil change and its free along with 3 more after that .Part of the Wave program.Rocky

Does the Jeep Renegade with the 1.3 Turbo engine have a boost gage in the dash?

If it does what PSI boost manifold pressure does the 1.3 typically read when cruising at 70 mph on a level highway?

No boost gauge. It does make a big difference when the turbo kicks in But at highway speeds you really dont use it.I was sceptical about the 1.3 at first. Now pretty happy with it so far. That dn we got the Wave bonus when we bought it.That and the dealer made us a great deal and got like over 20K for the 18 compass in trade.Cant say enough good about the small dealer we bought from.My son also got a great deal on the 21 Challanger Trans Am he bought.Rocky

That's pretty impressive therocks!

Our '17 with Tigershark isn't that efficient, but is pretty good as they go. It didn't start to use any oil at all until about 40k miles. The recall / flash fixed that issue. We love the little truck.

Dave the 18 Compass with the 2.4 used like almost 4 quarts in less than 4K.Thought I was free as are the next 3.Dealer gives one with new car.Jeep had wave program and 3 and tire rotation free.We average about 24 or better in mostly town drivind on average. So far we love the 1.3 turbo.Rocky
