Haven’t posted in a while!
I built a 400/512 for my ‘54 pickup and used a set of chinese 1 5/8” block huggers. They’re way too small even for stealth heads and a .507 comp cam but I’m not grudge racing and it’s soooper tight in my engine bay.
Well one is leaking at a weld and I’m thinking it’s a good time to upgrade to some bigger tubes. Maybe 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 or so?
Anyway I do weld and I’ve made pipes for harleys and header back systems from mandril bends for my mopars but I am wondering if there’s anybody close to me that could make me a set of pipes that would give me room to grow if I upgrade cylinder heads later and at least not choke out the big mill.
I’m in Lower Bucks County just above Philly across the river from Trenton.
