I bought a 1320 Challenger in July. Starting to cool off and I am taking it to the track some. Anyone else racing theirs?

I'm match racing a pal of mine who has one on Saturday at Keystone, best of three. Kaleb has gone 11.60s with his, I generally run around 10.90, 11 flat with my 65 Dodge Hemi Nostalgia Super Stock. My 65 is probably one of the most genuine equipped Nostalgia cars in the country....426 cubic inches, 11 to one compression, ancient Racer Brown cam, cross ram, "J" converter, and Super Stock Springs. No technology newer than about 1969, when I bought it. It's kind of an old vs new thing for a deal Keystone calls "Grudgement Day"....it will be fun. I'm going to spot him .6, it is for grins. He's a good kid, and it seems to have generated a lot of interest! Kaleb was runnerup this year at the NMCA "Hemi Shootout" for Gen III Hemis in Norwalk, Ohio. It will be fun!

I happened to race alongside one about a year ago. He ran 11.98 @ 114.07 mph. I don’t know if it was bone stock or not, but i thought it may be.

I haven’t got to run the 1/4 mile yet. My best 1/8 mile is a 7.64 at 92 mph.

I don’t put much faith in the calculators. My 2018 Mustang ran a 11.92 with a 7.78 1/8th.

Yes the cars are very heat sensitive. I have a small fan that I cool the intake down between rounds, seems to help. I think an e85 conversion would help consistency a lot. How are your reaction times?

supposedly the pedal commander solves the issue, it cleans the electrical pulse from the pedal to throttle body.
i have heard from some that it is hocus pokus and others swear by them .
i have not tried anything
I sure like street racing my 1320. its so fun
Thank you Kiddart
