Like the title says. Is the 1971 Challenger tail panel script emblem the same as the studded emblems used on fenders?

Does anyone know how many versions there were on the 70-74? From what I see on ebay it looks like there were flat adhesive replacement script, studded flat fender script, thick 70 grill script, really thick 72-74 grill script. Any others?

yes the adhesive fender/decklid emblem, pinned fender emblem & '71 Challenger tail panel emblem are the same size & same script

the center pin is relocated 1/2" on a '70 pinned fender emblem VS. a '71 pinned decklid emblem scope

72-74 Challenger 1/4 panel script is adhesive backed. I believe the 72-74 grill emblem is tapered on the back side to fit the grill. Haven't looked at one for awhile but I'm pretty sure it's tapered.

Looks like the 71 tail panel script had the pin moved because it was too close to the tail panel seam.

iagree the attaching nut would've been too close to the parting line/flange for the taillight panel scope

You are correct, it is tapered, and the letters are very thick.
