Hi, I have the us car tool subframe connectors that are formed to the floor pan for my cuda. Does anybody have a measurement of where the holes need to be drilled for the parking brake cables to pass through? I don't have any cables on my car yet, I'm just trying to prefab everything first. Thanks

Have you looked at the origanal holes in the sub frame and just transfered them onto the connector?

The car didn't have any cables on it when I got it, so I wasn't sure which ones were used.

I think your going to want to make the cable pass thru holes after the connectors are installed to get it right.

I had my subframe connectors installed when my car was in the shop getting painted. They made the holes after the connectors were welded in place. This is a B-body, but same idea.

The connectors are welded in now. I was going to start cutting the holes as my next step.

You'll need to get the parking cables installed to get an idea where the cable line of travel passes over the connector.

What did you paint the inside of the connectors with, either before or after install?

Not sure you were asking me but my twocents
I learned long ago that properly applied rustoleum rattle can paint works exceptionally well, just try removing it once its fully cured.
Ive used semigloss black everywhere and im very happy with the finish, it does take its sweet time drying though. So yes, i painted primer the inside of the connectors before welding/install to protect the bare metal.

Thank you. My plan was to use weldable primer on the edges and then coat with exactly that Rust-Oleum. Car probably won't ever see rain but just wanted to be safe
