if you have no box or pump now, you may want to think about one of the new [smaller] replacement boxes, like the borgeson box and the pump that goes with it. if you have a setup now that doesn't work, maybe rock auto or the bag. maybe place an add in the B-body wanted section ? lots of places to look. cheapest doesn't always mean the "best" buy.

And an FYI: We have had several issues with different Borgeson installs so do your research before jumping in. Their tech support is also a bit useless. The actual owner and his son are absent and off trying to make the next big thing in guns. one of their guys admitted that they just keep adapting the same box to different applications without doing actual installs or testing. He said the managements philosophy was, if it works well in a Camaro it should work on any application

over on the cornering group, there is a fellow that just installed a Lares box and is having problems. something like the first few inches of turning the steering wheel it doesn't feel right, then after that, it feels as it should. i don't know what would cause that effect. you would think that the box would feel "power like" or not if it was getting the correct supply of oil from the pump. this is not a slam on Lares, as i have never used any re-man box from them.

We have installed quite a few ( GM, Chrysler Ford) units without issue. This BT excludes the "divorced" systems used on Corvettes and Mustangs. I would say the above issue is either due to the centering adjustment being set too tight or a misalignment / binding of the column / shaft
