Gotta move my 24 foot Haulmark trailer(with that 27 roadster racer inside) from a locked, lighted and gated storage lot to now a parking space at my condo shop unit parking area. ..., what do you suggest for that 2 5/16 coupler ?
Here’s what appears to me to be the BESTest choice ... ur thoughts ?

I was hoping someone would post a good suggestion.
In the meantime, remove all the wheels, jack the nose up as high as you can using your electric jack if so equipped and disconnect the wire inside the jack motor.
If you leave the jack motor functional it can be hot wired. With it fully extended its hard to tow away with out the back dragging.
It doesn’t take too long to install 4 wheels and steal the trailer but it takes time to lower that jack.

And if possible, chain the tongue to something solid, immovable and substantial with a very hard lock. Don't recall the brand (sorry, no picture either) but I had a coupler lock that had the key slot/tumblers on the bottom so if somebody tried to bust it, it was one more uncomfortable/time-consuming/working up position for them...

Inside battery. Cable thru the wheel connected to a hidden secondary dead mans pull switch. As soon as a wheel turns it pulls the cable and applies the brakes. Doug

Nothing is better than making something yourself as they practice on commercial stuff to be ready for it. Some guys go as far as putting gps on their trailer that notifies you on your phone when the trailer is moved. Think outside the box.
Problem is almost all these thieves these days bring cordless cut-off tools or cordless sawzalls. Takes all of 1 minute to cut thru. These locks are only good to keep the honest people honest.
