It basically just shows what a quad motor can do and will be here shortly in far less expensive performance cars. The plaid is running 9.20's with 3 motors At $131k it's not cheap either.

Yes but Tesla is all over the map with their prices, I heard they just hiked prices by another $5000, which they've done multiple times over the years. You'll see real pricing once Dodge,GM and Ford start offering legit competition

I've been following Rimac since I first saw one of the 8 Concept 1's in Manhattan. The Nevera is beautiful and insanely fast, magnificent!!

Funny how quick Bugatti was to merge with him, a lone dude from Croatia that built a fast car. Grease ball stuff going on there, VW just wants to steal his innovation

The EV industry is just starting to warm up. In 5 years, how fast are these things going to be? Will grandma drive a 6-second EV to go grocery shopping?
China is the enemy.

Lots of 10 second cars can do that. 10.40-10.50 cars running 1.35-1.39's Guy acting like he's shot out of a cannon.
Does it pull like a beast, yep. Bet those "10.40-10.50 cars" handle like crap on a road course though.

All wheel drive car that leave pretty poorly. Same as lots of cars at the track. Say a 10 second driveline in a 12 second chassis. Just think how much faster it might go if it could only leave the line like it should with all that power.

They aren't except in a very tiny, narrow, tenth of a second or so instance. BFD. When your tiny little perspective is limited to going straight only it's hard to remember that real cars have to do a lot more. Here's a heartbreaker for you, the Nevera has a heater, it has AC, it has a very nice and comfortable interior,, it has a trunk, it meets all current federal safety requirements for street use. It has ABS, it has traction control, it has an entertainment system and your 10.40-10.50 car can barely beat it, maybe, in 60 foot time has diddly, ok maybe it has a Kraco in the dash.
