I'm looking to use head studs on a forced induction build using TF 270's . There is nothing in stock but I'm sure head studs for another cylinder head may be close-problem is I can't find the stud length specs as part of a kit. On TF's site they list their bolt lengths as 4.300" for the long ones and 1.75" for all the short ones. Heck a SBC uses 34 head bolts in a 7/16" I may wind up ordering a SBC Head stud kit as long as I can find the correcct lengths or at least as close as possible. For example if anyone knows how long the head studs are for Indy 440-1 heads that would help. Thanks for any assistance. J.Rob

All I can say is I used ARP-145-4206 on my TF270 build.

Call ARP and ask them how long the studs should be and if you can buy them individually. If not see if they have some studs that are slightly longer or shorter. ARP has a huge variety of head studs sitting on the shelf.

That’s the part number for stock type and RPM type heads.
I guess a little measuring between a stock head vs the TF head should give you an idea of how the fitment of those studs would be.

I’m sure there would be no issues with the 12 short ones.

Its been a while, but my recollection is that I did a bit of research and that is what I was advised to use. They worked fine.
