I have been waiting 3 months for my engine builder to get an eagle 493 kit for a date coded 70 hp machined block for my 70 challenger, i'm about sick of waiting, i have a 67 440 rebuilt 25 years ago, i'm thinking of taking that to him and use it instead. my question is has anybody received a stroker kit lately and how long did it take to get? or does anybody have any inside info of who can actually supply me with a kit asap.

You are in the waiting game like everyone else unfortunately.

440 Source has stroker kits in stock and I'd rather use 440 Source than Eagle. Pick up the phone and call them and see if they have the kit you need in stock. Your engine builder might not be paying attention to what is available.

I talked to an engine builder the other day who had been waiting several months for a 6 bolt stroker crank for a 505 engine. I told him that Molnar had 8 bolt cranks in stock. He had just never thought of buying an 8 bolt crank. The car owner had to buy a new flex plate but that was chump change compared to sitting out the rest of the race season.

Buy local, buy SCAT.

Pick up at factory in Redondo Beach.

i dont have a flywheel yet so an 8 bolt crank would work, i guess i will have to find the kit on my own. i will check with scat also. thanks for the input.

All parts made in America, not made and drop forged in China and finished machine here like Eagle, Scat and several other well known American brands
I can't say I have had problems with China made cranks and I have use several of them with no issues
I did have one problem with a Ohio crank back in 2002 and they took care of it right away It got damage in shipping and they exchange it for no charge to me on the shipping either way
