Can anyone tell me if this looks like the correct drivers side 340/E body motor mount?

The reason that I am asking is because it covers one of the oil pan mounting bolts and I had to remove the mount just to get to this one bolt. You can see the issue better on the bottom view.

Just curious if this is the correct mount or not.
Thanks

Not sure on the application but I would say NO. At least it doesn't look like any I've ever seen shruggy beer

I think that is a later style (72-74) 340 mount. I have a RH one like that.

That later model does look similar. This design is horrible for changing out the oil pan.
Thanks guys!!

The mounts in my 73 Cuda look like that. I recently read that the the big flange was added to catch on the block should the rubber motor mount shear in an accident. Don't know if that's true but if it doesn't perform any other function, the extra material is easy to remove to free up access.

Thanks gzig. That kind of makes sense why the design was changed.

I had mine marked to cut them down, but opted to buy a new set when I found a "made in India" sticker. These mounts have been in the car a couple of decades so I bought a set of Mighty Mounts to replace them. I then decided not to go through the effort to cut these and just replace them. The MM's do not have the excess steel beyond the rubber mounts which should make the pan mounting bolts easier to access.

Thank you again for the info!

I received my new Mighty Mounts and trimmed off the drivers side motor mount to allow the pan to be removed. Now I don't have to remove the engine mounting brackets to drop the pan.
Thanks for the info!

Note: I did have to shorten the male stud in the second picture on the Mighty Mounts. Once I started to mount the assembly I noticed that the stud was too long and it hit the side of the block.
