Looking for the jack mast/post lengths of 70 B & E body bumper jacks. I have a hollow tube assembly dated 9J that is 35" long and am not certain if it is for an E or B body car. I do not see these details on Nick's Garage website. thanks! Joe

I used to know that and I think there is a detailed discussion on for e bodies only long ago with some links to information. From my memory, lol, my ebody jacks are a shorter than 35 and 70 are t post design. A 70 hollow post is a b body and I think 35 is correct. 71 e body can be hollow post. It depends on the plant. Double check me On the ebody site.

Thanks Mark! I found the post y0u referenced on E body forum. This photo was posted. Looks like I have a 70-71 E body jack based on 35" mast length.

Well, my memory was a little short for the length but at least I knew where to look! My understanding is that different plants used different suppliers so the tubes were different depending on the plant.

My '70 convert is in storage at the moment, but if my memory serves it has a tube style mast (original family owners).
I can honestly say I have never owned a vehicle with the other style in it.

That page makes you wonder if it's "correct" as they show no gray jack masts for 68-70 B-body and a lot of 70 B-body Dodges were gray NOT just Chargers...
