Fwiw, agreed with everything IMGTX posted.

If you didn't flush the system and replace receiver/dryer I would do that when replacing the orifice or expansion valve

I just did this repair on my son’s 05 1500 last year. Here’s the proper procedure. His compressor went out because he had a leak in one of his hoses. I replaced the compressor, the leaking hose, the accumulator/ dryer, the line with the orific tube in it( these don’t use an expansion valve) AND the condenser AND flushed the other parts or lines in the system. All these parts are not that expensive to replace and flushing is simple. If you did not do ALL of this, you probably have enough metal in the system to trash the compressor again. My advice, and your not going to like this, start over and replace everything and flush it . These new condenser have small passages and get stopped up very easily so they need to be replaced. A good working condenser is the key to a 134 system. His fan motor went out last month so we had to change it out as well. I suggest changing that out right now as well because you have to pull the condenser assembly out to change that. You might get lucky and nothing has gotten loose into the new compressor but don’t be surprised if it goes out soon. At least if you want to chance it, change the orific tube line and the condenser and flush the rest of the system. Good luck

If you do end up flushing the system, since you have the system apart; the method I use is flush all the lines with lacquer thinner, then flush again with acetone. The acetone will dry the system out. I do this with all my auto a/c systems.
