Does anyone know of anywhere that has an engine bay wiring harness in stock for a '70 challenger R/T w/ a 440?
Year One is backordered for a few months at least. I believe Classic Industries is out of stock also. He checked one other place that also had nothing.
I'm waiting to hear back from Herb's Parts.
Asking for a friend that doesn't "do" the internet, lol.

Might try the folks who actually make them, if you can get their contact info.
I think either Bill Evans and/or M&H.
Might even find a decent used one; I think a 383 donor should work if you don't want to modify a 318/340 harness.

i always forget if the tach wire was in the harness or a separate wire external to the engine harness. that is if you have a rallye dash. my original was pretty badly jacked up so i don't have a nice original reference. i have a 70 cuda 440 so the harness should be the same. I ended up going with M&H years back for the engine harness and reused the originals for the rest of the car. the M&H harness has the tach wire taped in with the rest of the wires. good luck

Might want to double check crimps and pin outs as we've had several issues with M&H harnesses. The most recent was an errant ground on the high beam side of a 4 lamp system. twocents beer
