I have a Schumacher battery charger that has 2 mp trickle / !5 Amp a Faster and Start analog one but want a smaller tender and will get a few pigtails that can be left on things like my home generator. Looking at these 2 but want clips as well as the ring pig tail. Andrewh master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,684	deltran has a horrible warranty, so I won't buy their stuff anymore. you pay shipping both ways if you want to get warranty support. for the jr it is more to ship than it was to buy one. Ctek isn't as small and a lot more expensive, but I use one of those too and like it. I don't know if shumaker makes a smaller one. guess it depends on why that is important.

Looks like Schumacher makes a 3amp and a 6 amp small Charger / Maintainer I was looking at them too. But saw on a charger thread here someone said their Schumacher regular charger/booster was crap. So was Looking at Deltran instead. I had two of the deltran jr tenders go bad so I added up the cost of getting free replacements under warranty and they ended up not being free for sure. They were basically close to what it cost to buy new. No thanks for something that goes bad so often.

11secdart master 1 Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 4,988 new jersey usa	I have also have had a Battery Tender Plus 1.25 amp for years use it on my Dart every time its home have never had a problem... also I had charging problems for years going to a 1 wire alternator solved that and the volt meter reads 14 all the time when running when I come home from racing and put the tender on the indicator light is only red for a few minutes before going to green.
