Hey guys, I tried to search but found nothing. I want to get a couple rattle cans of sunfire yellow made up at the local paint shop and I want to have as much information as I can to give to them to make sure I get the right color. So if anyone know's the paint numbers for 1968 sunfire yellow I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

1968 Plymouth "sunfire yellow" paint code is "S"
1969's "Y2" & 1970's "DY2" is the same color!!

GM's color code "40" used on various cars '65,'67-'69:
Pontiac "mayfair maize" / Chevrolet "butternut yellow" & "crocus" / Oldsmobile "saffron" / Cadillac "colonial yellow" / Buick "cameo cream" & "bamboo"
.... is a similar shade of yellow. However, it does not have the same formula!!

With all the changes in the paint "industry" , 40+ years ago they were different .... today they may be the same?
