According to the Mopar Action article "Pumping Points", my 1971 manual drum brake Barracuda should have master cylinder casting number 3461189 or 2227541 (Chrysler Part No. 3461184). The build sheet shows "31" under "MAS CYL". Does anyone have an image of an original lid or cap? I am assuming that it makes reference to SAE J1703 brake fluid.

Thanks,
David

This is not mine and I have no idea if this is correct, but it does show your casting number on the bottom.

Thanks for your help and the link. That is the correct casting. The style or shape for the lid looks correct. However, in 1971 the original lid stated USE SAE J1703, not DOT3. I am not sure if the J1703 lid below (bottom image) is an original as used by Chrysler or if it is an after-market piece.
