I want to make sure I get this right. New date coded mufflers arrived and took off my old rusted ones. Need to see where the cutouts go and what side the date code is visible.
My mind is shot.
Getting too old to remember anything and I just removed them last night and want to install today before the heat kicks in this weekend.

We're the mufflers installed perfectly flat or a little tilt to them or did the factory just slap them on and not have them perfect on each side?

Ideally you want them flat, that was the factory's intention. Once installed, you'll only see the date code on on of them.
