First time out this year with the Liberty 5 speed netted a 6.36 @107. At this track my previous best was a 6.56 @105 with the Doug Nash. The 60ft times are not the best as it was spinning but a new set of tires and possibly a set of double adjustable shocks should help that. Thanks to Mike Gray on all of his help and support in this effort. (I think he got tired of me breaking the Doug Nash lol)When we get back from Pinks we will try a little spray and try for the 5's. Made 5 passes and drove it back on the trailer so it was a great night for me LOL.
Also it was good to see Beeqwik, his father and the rest of the gang there.

Donald

One of the biggest problems with the Doug Nash was the 1rst to 2nd drop 3.14 to 1.72. It would drop 1600rpms. The Liberty is set up as a 3.06 1rst to a 2.09 2nd. It made for a interesting 1rst time down the track with a clutchless, I bumped the clutch pedal LOL, I knew it would happen. I got the hang of it on the 2nd pass though.

I can't wait to see your dart in person at zmax next weekend. That will be an interesting ride when you use the nitrous. Was that at the motormile? I haven't made it up there yet, we've been going to elk creek, your car looks and runs great, can't wait to see it at charlotte, Jesse

Sounds like great ratios in that box, and nothing is more fun than running that stick.

Glad to see you get to make some passes without having to worry about the transmission.

The W2 motor runs pretty good for something put together from spare parts laying around.

And when we get all we can from the W2 motor we have something else waiting patiently.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes that was at Motormile dragway in Radford Va. Very nice facility. The car is open headers for now, I have a set of 4" borla mufflers to put on it. Thanks to Chris and Mark for posting the video.
Ronnie, I hope to make it up that way sometime this summer so maybe we can get together.
Mike, can't wait to put the other bullet in;) and thanks again.

Hey Donald great to hear some luck is coming your way. What kind of bell housing and clutch set up did you end up going with?

Copy and PM me if you don't mind I'm real busy and may loose this thread before getting back on here.
