Where did the factory fasten the hood pin lanyards on a 73 road runner ??? ..I've got conflicting info and I'm trying to figure out the correct location...Thanks !!!

Thanks for the reply but the 73 is different in reguards to the earlier style B body... The headlight reinforcement plate separates the grille/header area so the cable routing cant be run as shown in that earlier style FAD...

Wouldn't you be able to attache the cable anywhere, pretty much, behind the grille? It wouldn't show anyways, and it does have to go through the grille, am I correct?

Cool FAD on the earlier hood pins anyhow...I saved it... ...Yes, on a 73 it passes through the grille...The FSM I've got does'nt have the body section in it... ...And I don't have access to an original vehicle of that year to check out at this time of the year...The pics I've come across show the lanyards fastened to the rad support and out through the grille...The other set shows the lanyards fastened to the headlight bucket support {on the grille side} then out through the grille also...The car is all painted and ready for the lanyards and I don't want to add them incorrectly... ...
