Friend has a 426 hemi in a lil red express. Ray Barton single plane intake, 4150 carb a 950 HP 80496. Unknown flat tappet cam, mild idle, ported dual plug heads.
Any ideas for jetting with this combo? The truck sat for a few years, and we went through the carb. Holley specs say 79/79 jets, 6.5 pv front/rear, and .055” pvcr front/rear. It had 84/86 jets, and same pv and pvcr.

Seems really rich for a 1.75” throttle bore/1.375” venturi carb.

This is the truck

I’d start with the stock jetting.......... or maybe eliminate the secondary PV and jet accordingly.

Called a 950 but is more like an 830-850 I'd go .076-.084 plugging the secondary p/v and .065- .067 pvcr's for starters but the emulsion pack and hi bleeds play a big role in jetting so that may change your jetting needs a bit compared to my tunes...
