A few years back in Carlisle I had met a guy that made reproduction driveshafts (bare steel, tapered, inertia ring etc.) took his info and promptly lost it. Anybody out there in resto-ville know of who I speak ? Or have another source ? Thanks

what was the purpose of the inertia ring ? it seems some shafts have it, while others do not. Cancels out certain frequency vibrations. Wanna make everything as smoooth as riding in a Cadillac, oops, meant as smoooth as in an Imperial.
