So lets boil this down to what findings we have. I enter a judged show in a 71 440+6 Cuda. I have a Midland Ross Plated booster. Am I going to be told that the booster is incorrect? A simple answer is no. Only the first 71 cars got the black Bendix. I had one of those cars that was early built and it had lots of leftover 70 parts in the brake system per date codes. it was parted out but I have the build sheet and parts. It had 70 style seats. Those NOS 71 Midland ROSS units I have are dated and have the correct part NOS stamped on the tags for 71 cars. They were made in mid to late 1970.
