I just did a Federal pump rebuild for the first time. It really is pretty straight forward. The only special tools needed are a snap ring pliers and a pulley puller. Advanced auto has a pulley puller tool that you can borrow (buy and return). As mentioned, the seal kit is about $10. The factory service manual has excellent step by step instructions. Mopar Muscle also did a nice how to article. Another option is to send yours off for rebuild. Steer and gear did one for me awhile back. I’ve also heard good things about these guys: http://www.powersteering.com/power-steering-pump-rebuildsI used the Gates 351170 Power Steering Repair Kit Here’s a post with a copy of the Mopar Muscle article. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,69003.0.html

I have had one from NAPA on my RR since about 1993. I'm sure whoever made it or remanufactured it back then is no longer around. ijs.
