E-body frame splash shield removal #2893907

Rebuilding the front suspension on my 70 barracuda. Pulling the lower control arms to replace the strut rod bushing. The driver LCA is blocked by the splash shield under the frame on that side. How do you remove the splash shield without damaging the part? It does not look like a screw or bolt, but the shield is very tight to the bottom of the frame so I don't think it is some sort of spring click thingy.

1970 E had rivets that you have to drill off. 71-up had bolts.
