73 Cuda 360. Advance where I work, the Sunday guy calls me and is wanting a source for engine mounts, not the rubber pieces but the "ears" that go on the K. From what I understand. All E bodies came with the square rubber block with steel ears molded in it for the isolator and the mounting bracket on the block. Like CAB said it looks like he is looking for spool mount parts and E bodies didn't have spool mounts. They were a 73 and later B body, F, M, J body and I believe but I can not say for sure some later model A & C bodies. These are the small block parts apart and assembled. One side of the 318/3340/360 metal brackets is identical and the other side is specific to a 318 or 340/360. 340/360 use the same brackets.

A-body spool mounts started in 1973 and continued on all F, M, J, etc. bodies.. If they had anything else, someone changed the k-frame. Year One spool mount application. Yes you are correct. I forgot E body didn`t have them.

I've own and work on several different 1973 Dusters, one 340 automatic "Space Duster " with the fold down rear seat and fold down trunk divider and one 340 3 speed stick shift car with bucket seats and no console ![shock shock](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shock.gif) One had the spool mounts and the other one did not ![work work](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/work.gif) I didn't think to look at the SPD on the fender tags back then so I'm not sure if one was a early SPD and the other was not as early or if they even came from the same assembly plants ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) I had a 1973 or 1974 Dodge 340 or 360 A body Duster style body, not a Demon, but the other name for those type body cars(CRS ![blush blush](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/blush.gif) ). It had the spool mount K member also ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif)
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I disagree on the A body . . .I know my 74 Duster360 was original when I got it, no spool mounts. I have never seen a '73-up A-body without spool mounts. If there were any they would have been very early 1973 cars, but I have my doubts, BUT I have seen one biscuit mount k-member with the open bottom for the late sway bar...

My 74 Duster360 was Dec.7, 1973 (yup, pearl harbour day car) . . . That's still long past when any extra '72 k-members would have been used up as, like I said, EVERY '73-up A-body that I've seen had spool mounts.
