I'm having a 512 RB being built. It will be using Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and a Comp hydraulic roller cam. Eagle rotating assy. What spark plugs are you guys running in this kind of combo?
Thanks

74 Challenger, bought it new. In 1978 I replaced the original 318 with a 446 and 727. Mild cam, Jardine headers, and Holley Sniper EFI.
New engine! 511" RB, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Eagle rotating assy, Comp hyd roller cam, Doug's 2" headers.

What compression ratio and what quality of fuel will you be using?

Compression in the 10-1 range. 91 octane no ethanol.

I like to use extended tip spark plugs when I can, on your deal look either NGK 6 or 7 with the extended tips, Autollite #3924 or 3923, Champion RC12YC or the colder RC9YC if you tune it to run clean at idle and light part throttle cruise up

I have to have resistors because of the Sniper EFI.

All the ones I listed, except the NGK heat range, are resistor plugs with extended tips up
Using resistor plugs with resistor wires make the coil firing voltage thresh hold go up, making it have a hotter spark up
Same thing as widening the plug gap work grin
