Anyone here running a GENIII swap with a 727? If so, just curious as to how you addressed the Kickdown?

I'm curious about hooking up the OEM FI intake with a 518/727 KD

I have seen it done by routing a lokar type kick down cable system to the gas pedal. So the movement of the pedal is what moves the kick down lever. I have a pic of the setup saved somewhere I’ll try to find.

Found it, not my pic and I can't remember where I found it to credit the person for the idea but I think it's pretty slick and simple.

I modified the factory throttle body for a cable, I did not take pictures when it was apart. I use the factory TPS. Currently I have a ford 2 wire PWM as my IAC. I think I will switch to a chrysler unit as I see a machined block is available.

There was an electric unit to control kickdown when I looked into it years ago. I decided I would rather have a cable throttle.

On my 2001 Ram Van with the 5.9 it uses a cable to the throttle linkage (pass side) don’t see why that couldn’t be made to work unless you have fly by wire. Use the 03-5 truck TB, it had a cable TB
