I have some ads for things I am selling on Craigslist. The ads were about to expire so I deleted each one and reposted all of them. However, one of the ads keeps getting removed as soon as I repost it. I didn't change any text or pics in the ad, just reposted it like the others. I tried 8 times and each time the ad was removed instantly. Can't figure out what the deal is but if I undelete the ad it is displayed as it was before. Nothing unusual in the text either, just a description of a tire. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

I tried that. Copied and pasted the text from the old ad as well as typed a new description. Neither worked. shruggy.

if you make a duplicate ad before you delete the original ad Craigslist and Facebook will delete the ad ASAP.

from my experiences, once your ad gets deleted or removed from Craigslist you can't copy / past it again or it will be deleted again ASAP. i THINK they ad something in the background that gets copied to allow this to happen.

when i am duplicating an ad on Craigslist or Facebook. i open another window, 1 window has the original ad the other has the new listing. i copy the original ad, then delete it. then paste the copied ad in the listing section. seems to work for me.

Try changing the title. For example I'll say "Plastic 55 Gallon Barrels" and then in the next ad It will be "55 Gallon Plastic Barrels" I've posted more than one ad at a time this way.

They've probably got some sort of filter in place because of the people who delate and re-post a copy and paste of their ad every day or two to stay at the top of the page. No idea why it only went after one ad tho unless you hit some sort of max for doing that or something triggered it as a more common item for people to do that to.
