Every pass I have to remove my deck lid to refuel and I got tired of removing the deck lid and worry about it getting stepped on. So I designed and printed these trunk hinges last winter. After a summer of use. I dig them. Thought I would share!

Very nice!

But that is a very old fuel cell. Make sure you inspect it well. Mine started to spider crack. Harwood has not made those tanks in decades..........

I wanted to design something that I could adjust to get the trunk lid to line good.

i am as well cab ! i also know good fabrication as well after spending 42 1/2yrs as a machinist and supervisor, and those hinges are a good example ! bow
i just wished this new fangled 3-D printing stuff was thought of 15yrs or so ago so i could have played around with it.
there are still a bunch of items floating around in my old head that would be fun to do if i had access to this new fabbing tech.
i need some new neighbors with this stuff in their garages !

Thank you! Actually, it could be done. My printers do not have enough print volume to print a cover.
