Hey guys I need to order 2 exhaust pipe flange gasket, but don't know the correct size to get. Are they 2 1/4" or 2 1/2". Car is a factory 69 383 Dart GTS. Car has a aftermarket 2 1/4" exhaust system. Thanks for the help.

I'd like to order these gaskets online. So does anyone know the correct size? Does it go by the size of the exhaust head pipe? Thank you.

2-1/4 sound correct.

You're ordering stock gaskets so it shouldn't be an issue.
Rock auto exhaust flange gaskets.

The most expensive ones are literally only $1.66 each, I'd be buying extras. laugh2

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Thanks guys. Now, does anyone here know what the factory size tailpipes were on a 68-69 big block Dart? I'm thinking they were smaller then the exhaust head pipes, but not sure.

Factory tailpipes were a two piece welded unit. 1969 units front half exiting from the mufflers were 2-1/4” O..D. The rear half was 2” O.D. which was slid into the front 2-1/4” section and welded. The rear where the exhaust extension was attached was opened to 1-7/8” I.D. for the chrome extension to slide into. By the time the exhaust exited the hole in the exhaust extension it was only 1-5/8” I.D. Not much flow. Big block tailpipes and 340 tailpipes were the same units. In 1968 the tailpipes were 2” O.D. exiting the mufflers and sized down to 1-7/8” at the rear. 1967 Big block tailpipes were also 2” but were only turndown style without extensions. Hope this helps.
