I'm decoding my 70 Hemi RR Broadcast Sheet and I'm unable to find any information on the tape stripe code of "1".

My car is B5 with B7 interior.

On the 3rd line of the BC sheet to the far right, under the section for "V" - STRIPE, there is the number "1" in the box.

Does the number 1 denote "stripe delete" ?

This car still sears most of its original paint and there is NO visible stripe, so that's why I assume it means "stripe delete", but I have not been able to find a decode guide that shows what this number means.

Thanks in advance

there is no "logical" reason for there to be a "1" in that section of the b'cast sheet

the only STANDARD stripe on a '70 Road Runner is the decklid stripe & its "DELETE" code is V88 - the 2-digit "88" would be in that box

can you post a picture or share via email? dhead68@hotmail.com

I believe there are 3 stripes available on the 70 RR. Hood stripe V21, side stripe or V6?(dust trail stripe) and V8? deck lid stripe. You will need to post more info to answer your question.

Here's the BC Sheet.

After a much closer inspection, it appears that it was just the line separating the boxes that looked like a "1".

The option code is actually blank, meaning no stripe.

Thanks !

I was going to say, are you not sure it is line 2. That is V1 plus another letter is it W. That is vinyl top. Was it a white top car?

The original vinyl top is still on the car, at least most of it is and it's Black.

Prob not an issue for the discussion, but I thought hardtops had the decklid stripe standard and it was optional for coupes?

If the car has Road Runner in metal on the trunk lid is did not come from the factory with a trunk stripe.
