by the "track bar", do you mean the panhard bar ? Probably the drag link, tie rod link between the steering box and idler arm Panhard bar and Watts links are use to the rear ends to keep them center in the chassis when driving, diagonal links do the same thing on ladder bars and 4 links also

i know what you mean for thr rear Cab, but doesn't this car have a straight axle on the front ? even if it has parallel leaf springs, if it has "cross steering", it needs something to keep the steering input from "pushing" the springs sideways. i am thinking of the white A-body with the blower motor. maybe i'm in the wrong thread ? [wouldn't be the first time my "oldtimers disease" had me screwed up. ]

straight axle front end with leaf springs and a bar that ties the front wheels together...we flipped that in front of the axle.

They just put it back on the lift and started measuring everything to bring the alignment in, so hopefully that gets fixed right....Otherwise the tech guy is going to have a field day...I think we inherited that issue. That bar was on there 180 reversed before we put the engine in and they may have just left all the spacers the way they found it just to get the engine because it was hitting the pan pretty bad. Normally, that's all the shop does is engine and trans, but they took this one on as one of those rare cases.
